Medicines

The misuse of medicines is widespread. Sleeping pills and tranquillisers, so-called benzodiazepines, are among the drugs that have an effect on the psyche. If benzodiazepines are taken for a long time, there is a risk of drug dependence. Drug dependence is characterised by the use of drugs that can no longer be controlled and the occurrence of withdrawal symptoms when the use is interrupted.
